['dʒɔːdʒiən 'staɪl], georgianischer Stil, Stilrichtung in Architektur, Innendekoration und Kunsthandwerk in England und in seinen Kolonien unter den Königen Georg I. bis Georg IV. (1714-1830). Wichtige Architekten dieser Zeit waren W. Kent, R. Adam und J. Nash. Auf dem Gebiet der Möbelkunst traten v. a. T. Chippendale und George Hepplewhite (✝ 1786) hervor. Der Georgian Style bediente sich weitgehend der Formensprache A. Palladios, griff aber auch Motive des französischen Rokoko, der Gotik sowie der chinesischen und indischen Kunst und Architektur auf.
